We recommend 4-5 days a week to create new thought habits and feel consistent positive changes.

Do the exercises for 1-2 minutes in between turns at practice, or at home. Total time: 5-10 minutes a day. For teams or groups, we recommend adding 20-30 minutes of open discussion, sharing thoughts, feelings, and progress with each other, and do 5 minutes of Zen and Athena exercises together.

Positive changes can begin to occur in the first week, sometimes the first couple of days. Consistent practice is essential. But it’s not magic, it also depends if adults are kind and helpful and if the child feels supported.

The exercises do not have a start and end date. Mental training is an ongoing practice, like yoga or meditation. Over time, you feel calmer and happier and confidence will come!

There is no warranty, but our mats are high quality and can last a number of years when taken care of.

Care instructions can be found here.
